Rob Wynn
President
As the leader of the club, Rob plays a crucial role in guiding its operations and ensuring it upholds its values of inclusivity and community engagement. His responsibilities range from overseeing day-to-day activities and promoting water safety to supporting the development of swimmers of all levels. After a spinal cord injury in 2008, Rob’s involvement with the club became a turning point in his life, helping him regain confidence and independence. He’s now committed to creating a welcoming environment where families can not only learn to swim but also build lasting friendships. Rob is passionate about maintaining the club’s tradition of community involvement and is actively engaged in organising events that bring members together. He values feedback and is always available on the pool deck to discuss ideas or answer questions, encouraging all members to contribute to the club’s continued growth and success.
Colin Murray
Swimming V/P
Colin Murray has been an integral part of the club for over two decades, serving as Vice President (Swimming) for the past 15 years. In this role, he oversees the planning, execution, and administration of all swimming competitions as Race Secretary, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Since joining the club in 2001 with his family, Colin has been a dedicated member and swimmer, taking great pride in witnessing the growth and development of swimmers across all age groups. His commitment to Parramatta Memorial Swim Club remains his top priority, even as he stays actively involved with Masters Swimming NSW. Colin is always available to answer questions about competitions, receive suggestions for improvement, or assist with last-minute race withdrawals, making sure every member feels supported and engaged.
Paolo Forlani
Treasurer
Paolo serves as the Treasurer of Parramatta Memorial Swim Club, managing the club’s finances, including banking and payments. Having rejoined the club after pursuing studies in Business and a full-time job, Paolo is eager to reconnect with the community and contribute to the club’s growth. His vision includes increasing membership and maintaining transparency in all treasury-related activities. Members can reach out to Paolo with any questions about payments, memberships, or club spending.
Brodie Wright
Secretary & North West Delegate
As Secretary and Metro North West Delegate, Brodie handles the club’s administrative duties and represents the club at regional meetings. Having returned to swimming as an adult, he appreciates the club as a place where members can connect and enjoy the sport. Brodie is interested in using technology to make club operations smoother and enhance member involvement. He’s always available to help with administrative questions or discuss how to improve the club experience.
Janelle Gentle
Registrar
As Club Registrar, Janelle handles the registration of all members and keeps the club’s records up to date. Having first learned to swim at the club as a child, Janelle has remained connected through her teenage years and now participates with her own children. She values the club’s family-friendly environment, where swimmers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to do their best. Janelle is available to assist with registration, fee payments, or updating member information.
Charlotte Wynn
Social V/P
Charlotte is responsible for organising and overseeing the club’s social events and activities, as well as managing the club’s social media presence. Members can contact her for any inquiries related to upcoming events, social media content, or to suggest new social initiatives.
Tim Holman
Handicapper
Tim is responsible for overseeing the club’s handicap races, ensuring they are fair and well-organised for all participants. Members can contact Tim with any questions related to the handicap races, including race schedules, rules, or understanding the handicap system.
Lila Holman
Assistant Handicapper
Lila supports the management of the club’s handicap races, working closely with the Handicapper to ensure everything runs smoothly. She is available to assist members with any inquiries related to the handicap races, from race procedures to understanding the handicap system.
Janice Woodward
Lifesaving V/P
Janice is responsible for overseeing the club’s lifesaving programs, ensuring that members have access to vital water safety training and resources. Her role includes organising lifesaving courses and promoting water safety within the club. Members can contact Janice with any questions regarding lifesaving training or to inquire about upcoming courses and certifications.
Corelle Spagnolo
Assistant Lifesaving
Corelle supports the Lifesaving V/P in guiding young swimmers through the Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion course and organising the club’s annual CPR training. Having joined the club at age 8, Corelle’s lifelong connection to swimming fuels her commitment to passing on essential water safety skills. She is dedicated to ensuring all members have the opportunity to learn these vital abilities and is always available to provide information and support regarding lifesaving and CPR at the club.
Fred Mills
Club Swim Coach
Fred manages the club’s training sessions. He ensures that swimmers of all levels receive the appropriate instruction and support to improve their skills. Members can reach out to Fred for information on training schedules, or to discuss their personal development goals within the club.
